After a busy summer at Waydown Shepherds Huts we are now accepting bookings for single nights in our cosy 2 berth couples Shepherds Huts. Ideal for a birthday or anniversary celebration or just to escape away.
They are heated plus have a wood burning stove to keep you warm with a supply of kindling and wood. Outside there is seating with a BBQ and fire pit including a sack of logs but bring your own BBQ coals.

The bathing Machine Hut was created with the Victorian bathing machines in mind which were used on the Brighton beaches and allowed the Victorian ladies to protect their modesty by walking out onto the rear terrace and straight into the sea. Accommodating 4 with a double bed and bunk beds it also has the added advantage of an attached terrace which is undercover

The Woodkeepers hut ,fashioned on a hut used by the Woods Manager on a Scottish estate in the Highlands . It has beautiful Downland views and overlooks our horse and donkeys paddock. It has a private sunny garden with large picnic bench barbecue and fire pit . This hut sleeps 4 with a large double bed and bunk beds . Our beautiful River Keepers hut, modelled on a French hut spotted by the Loire river in central France and used by the river keeper as overnight accommodation. It has double doors on the side which open out onto the ancient wood that surrounds our small family site and has a large porch over the doors . Outside is a patio with a barbecue and fire pit.
