University of Sussex Alumni Network Our mission is to keep you connected to the University through the alumni network. We’re the Alumni Relations Team at the University of Sussex. That’s us!

You know that e-newsletter that appears in your inbox once a month and the lovely Falmer magazine which pops through your letterbox? We try to keep in touch with as many Sussex alumni as possible, making sure that you still feel part of the Sussex community. We want to let you know what’s happening in and around the University and make you aware of events in Brighton, London and many other parts o

f the world. It’s also important to us that we know what you want to hear about and what we can do to make being a Sussex alumni rewarding, fun and stimulating. So keep an eye out for surveys and competitions and other interesting things. We also raise money to support current students who find themselves in hardship and to help improve the student experience. Anyway, that’s enough about us. Stay in touch!

Happy ! A big thank you to everyone in our Sussex community who has volunteered as a mentor, we really appreciate all the time + commitment you put in. ❤

Today we wanted to share Ann + Daniel's mentoring story - the pair were matched together on the Global Mentoring Programme after their initial matches decided to not continue on the programme.

Ann and Daniel met online throughout the programme and as a mentor, Ann said it was “a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in a student's life”.
