Amongst the hotels we viewed on our trip this has to the most impressive.

This hotel build has been 9 years in the making to be completed this year (bookings available from Oct). The finishes are to a super high standard. I was so impressed after the tour, I have booked myself!! 😊

The building has been constructed as its name sake..so that the stunning “horizon” is visible the minute you walk into the hotel lobby and from almost every spot in the hotel. There are 3 huge pool’s. One of which, the lagoon pool, will be layered with sand which is shortly going to be filled 😲
An adults only pool/bar/room area.
Kids’ club, playground & animation team.
There are courtesy rooms for those customers with a late flight home.

3 à la carte eateries. A large buffet restaurant, French bistro (with a huge wine cellar) Asian & Japanese (Tepenyaki will cost extra).

6 bars. New furniture is arriving all the time and the TV’s for the sports bar arrive in a couple of weeks!

Prices for this hotel are currently very reasonable however I envisage prices will increase once open so BOOK NOW to get the best deal.

⭐️ HOTEL MORABEZA ⭐️

Hotel Morabeza was the first hotel built on the Island! Think refined elegance & old school glamour. The hotel makes all its own furniture and everything is bespoke.

It offers a variety of accommodation, 88 rooms and 33 suites, with terraces or balconies, overlooking the sea or the gardens. Currently only available for adults on B&B, half board or full board basis.

Set along one of the finest spots on the beach front of Sal Island & rooms sell out extremely fast.

In October 2024 it opened a brand new beach club and this section of beach with its powder white sand and uninterrupted views is one of the best on the island.

We also had dinner here, the food and setting were just fabulous. 🍝🍷

About last week…

I had the pleasure of visiting Cape Verde as part of EasyJet’s fabulous NEW destination. 🌅🧡✈️

FIRST STOP MELIA HOTELS…
~ALL HOTELS ALL INCLUSIVE~
3 Melia hotels all with beach front locations neighbouring each other with a slightly different offering.

⭐️MELIA DUNAS HOTEL & SPA ⭐️
A family friendly resort with onsite waterpark, splash park, and two kids’ pools & kids club. As well as numerous other pools depending on what your vibe is. There are four à la carte restaurants and seven bars.
Rooms consist of standard doubles.
They also have apartments with 2 & 3 bedrooms. Perfect for those not keen on shared family rooms.

⭐️ MELIA LLANA ⭐️
Stunning ADULT ONLY (18+)
We stopped here to have lunch at the main buffet restaurant where they served up fab paella & a cheeky glass of fizz. 🥘🥂
Llana had a lovely chilled out vibe where you can easily watch the world go by while supping on a cocktail or 2 ! 🍹
You can benifit from the outdoor spa, swimming pools, swim up pool rooms, gym, and three restaurants.

⭐️MELIA TORTUGA BEACH RESORT & SPA ⭐️
Family-friendly resort with kids’ club and pools. With three restaurants. This hotel felt more spread out with more apartments than hotel rooms.
There are two pools each for grown ups and little ones, so there’s plenty of options when it comes to the pool scene.
We had dinner at La Cabana, beach front location that serves up freshly caught seafood while watching the sunset 🌅 the perfect end to the day.
