•Tasmania Edition!• Greetings from down under! I, Florence, am currently exploring the beautiful island of Tasmania. And boy, is the food and drink scene down here exceptional! Here are a few highlights from Hobart.
🦀 Smoked humus, cauliflower soup and potted crab aboard the ferry to the incredible . I upgraded to the 'posh pit' for drinks and nibbles. Worth every penny. Who'd have thought food on a ferry would be THIS good.
🥦 Tempura broccoli at . Delicious and most definitely the least healthy way you could ever consume broccoli.
🐟 Smoked herring, Ayurvedic rice, green lentils, poached egg at . Perfectly spiced rice. Gorgeous cafe. I could have eaten every dish on their menu.
🦪 Oysters and Lebanese wine at the very cool, very buzzy .hobart. These guys are getting their own reel soon 👀 so good!
🐟 Miso glazed salmon, mash, pickles, edamame and the most divine sesame sauce at . The wine was fantastic too. And the waiter absolutely lovely.
🍓 A beautiful smoothie bowl at . The coffee was perfect and they were entirely gluten free 🤩
🐚 Scallop sticks at the . With sweet potato in miso butter. Divine.
There is loads of amazing seafood of course. Safe to say I could very happily exist in this city's foodscape. Have you ever been to Hobart? Where did you eat?
