We’ve had some absolutely lovely tours lately with some truly wonderful company.

Whilst delicious food and drink is at the forefront of our tours, it’s conversation and connection that makes these afternoons truly special. A group of strangers coming together for a fleeting few hours and having a great time together. Conviviality and laughter around the table is one of life’s greatest treasures.

for the last year and a half, I’ve met some so many warm and interesting people. I feel truly lucky to call us my job.

We have two dates left for our city tour in November and dates for 2025 are now open for booking. And of course our tours make fantastic Christmas gifts! We have gift certificates available on our website!

Another fabulous Hotspots & Hidden Treasures tour on Saturday! A lovely group to spend the afternoon with. Here we are enjoying a delicious local beer from at the gorgeous , a guest venue for last weekend! The Strawberry Thief is such a great spot for a beer. They specialise in Belgian beer and also have local options available.

Our next tour is fully booked but we have spaces throughout October and November. And all our tours are available as gift vouchers! Anyone thinking about Christmas yet?! 🫣

Wow what a weekend at ! I had such a great time hosting the Cooking Demos & Talks stage today. Exhausted and happy to relax at home with a big plate of beautiful fire cooked greens from . Lots of photos and videos to share over the coming days.

Huge congratulations to the organisers for a superb first event. Onwards and upwards for this festival! I’m looking forward to next year already!

We tried the Sunday roast at the this weekend and I can say with some confidence this is the best roast I have had in Bristol. Utterly delicious, as I expected it would be!

The meat was perfectly cooked which is a rare thing with beef roasts in my experience. As someone who doesn’t eat a great deal of meat for ethical reasons I know I can eat whatever The Loaf is serving up safe in the knowledge that it will be carefully sourced and of the highest quality.

I think the highlight of the meal for me was in fact the vegetables! The trio of cabbages and Swede alongside that beetroot reduction was what lifted the meal to next level deliciousness.

I’m already looking forward to the next one. Get down and try it out ASAP!
