Just to update regarding Day 2 tests for anyone arriving into the UK from outside the Common Travel Area (Channel Islands, Ireland etc)
Day 2 test must be a PCR if you arrive after 0400 on 30 Nov - the test can be taken any time after arrival to the end of Day 2. You must also self isolate until the results are received. Our office in Westbury Park, Bristol is still offering PCR tests at reasonable prices - bookings can be made via https://www.traveltesting.eurofins.co.uk/

Big travel update today - red list down to just 7 countries (Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Ecuador, Panama and Venezuela). The Government have also confirmed that Day 2 tests will change to lateral flows from PCRs "towards the end of October". As we have learnt throughout this pandemic - the devil is in the detail and we have no details at all as to how this will work in practice. We will of course keep you updated as soon as we have further news. Do not assume that as a country is no longer red that they are welcoming visitors - entry requirements need to be checked as well as the FCDO advice. So today is - we thank everyone for their kind words over what has to be the most difficult and challenging period ever in the travel industry. We are a tough bunch and we will bounce back but it would help us enormously if you would just mention us to your friends or share this post. We can’t be there in person today but are proud to be virtually supporting all our friends & colleagues from the Travel Industry to support the “Travel Day of Action” at Westminster and across the country.

Not only travel agents but tour operators, airlines, cruise lines, airports, crew and everyone else that makes the travel industry what it is.

We are asking for the restart of safe international travel , for the government to be transparent with their decisions and provide proper industry support to the Travel Industry.

Travel always seems to be first in to a crisis and last out.

Updated Opening Hours ⏰
Due to the latest and rather unexpected changes from the Government regarding travel we have taken the decision to revert to working from home for the month of June.
Should you wish to visit the office, this is possible but by advance appointment only. We would absolutely love to see you in person so please do get in touch if you would like to visit.
Phone lines will be open Monday to Friday from 10am until 2pm.

This afternoon has seen the announcement of the "green list" for leisure travel to resume from 17 May. There are 12 countries and territories on the list - a number of which do not have direct flights and others whose borders remain closed (Australia & New Zealand). We now need to wait and see what the other countries on the list determine as the required entry criteria - a green listing does not necessarily mean we are immediately welcome. The table below gives details of what is required to return to the UK from each list. We will keep you posted but the likely options for travel soon are Portugal, Gibraltar, Israel and Iceland. Please get in touch if you have any questions. The next list update is expected around 7 June and a review of the requirements in the table is expected on 28 June. The green listed countries applies to travel from England only.

You may be expecting to see our doors open today as non essential retail is permitted to reopen. We have decided to remain open by phone & video call for another few weeks until we have some further clarity and hopefully a list of countries that are open and welcoming UK visitors and on the "green list " so we can help you plan this year's trips with confidence.
