Centurion Travel at the 69th UK Coach Rally – Blackpool 2025
This weekend we headed up to Blackpool for the 69th UK Coach Rally, taking part for the very first time – and what an amazing experience it was!
Our driver Ben Angell did a fantastic job, taking our brand new Irizar i6s through a 50-mile road run and a tricky obstacle course on the promenade. With 44 other top-class operators from across the UK, the standard was incredibly high… so we’re thrilled to say we came away with the Best Irizar Coach trophy! 🏆
The weekend was full of highlights – catching up with friends from the industry, exploring trade stands, and proudly showing off our new flagship vehicle. I’ve been attending the Rally for years, and I’m really glad I was finally convinced to enter – especially as it meant I could bring my dad, Martin, along to see it all. (He might’ve enjoyed the night-time entertainment even more than the event itself – dancing and chatting about Blackpool in the 80s until the early hours!)
A massive thank you to the team for all their hard work – especially Ben for taking the wheel (and the endless polishing), and my brother Darren who did the majority of the polishing… and then polished again for good measure!

Our new Irizar i6s comes with 63 seats, toilet and washroom, USB-C fast chargers, and the comfort and safety features our customers know us for – including pedestrian detection and the latest driver assist systems.
In our 100th year, we couldn’t be prouder of this achievement and the direction we’re heading. Here’s to many more miles ahead!
