Throw back Thursday. I took this photo 12 years ago on Target Electronics at the bottom of Stokes Croft Bristol. Work entitled, A Christmas card from Jody. Painted by Jody in a period when the district was constantly seeing fresh & Diverse art & Graffiti going up on the walls by some great Bristol artists Epok, Deamze, 3Dom, Sepr, Paris, Inkie, Haka, Felix, Acer, The Unwelcome relatives, TCF, ASK crews and many many others. Now Stokes Croft its a sad reflection of what it used to be. I miss those days. Just my thoughts on a December day. What ever you are doing today have yourselves a great day

This one is in the internationally famous Wynwood district and launched the Art Basel event. Its Miami art week 1 of the most influential and biggest street art events anywhere in the world. Good day everyone. Another sad day for Bristol street art and the Banksy story. Another building building is being put up for sale & redevelopment. Good day everyone. Last week in Bristol seen an amazing graffiti production wall be painted. It celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Metelheadz music label. 18 artists worked for 4 days to produce a huge wall of styles & imagery. Here is just 1 section of it. The rest to follow this week. This section says The Mighty Headz. Randall & Goldie. Painted by Inkie, Epod 3000, Dibz & Bio. The quality of artists and their work is arguably 1 of the best walls I've seen in the city for decades. Its located at the Eastgate centre Eastville by Ikea. Well worth a visit if coming to Bristol. What ever you are doing today have yourselves a great day 🙂

End of a era? Gentrification of Stokes Croft. History, legacy of Bristol contempory culture being destroyed by faceless men in grey suites? We await to see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Many of you will have seen the mild mild west in person and many haven't. But the opportunity to see this iconic Banksy classic from 1999 may not be here for much longer.
