Our Story

A luxury travel brand built upon responsible tourism.

Co-Founders Tom Blakey and Harry Prowse created Wayfairer to share their passion for travel that is both luxurious and responsible.

To this day our mission is to offer luxury holidays which are authentic, meaningful and socially responsible, and which thereby also benefit local communities and conserve environments. We feel that it is important that local economies benefit from our business, therefore we employ local guides whom we pay fairly, use locally owned and managed accommodation where possible, along with supporting various community tourism initiatives. We specifically promote accommodation and tours which are mindful of their environments and fit within our core principles of luxury and responsibility.

Our aim with Wayfairer is to show how responsible tourism can change the very definition of luxury travel.
