Finally got a Sunday off from touring, what better way to spend it than with friends enjoying a dog walk on Berry Head (Brixham) followed by breakfast at the Guard House cafe........back on tour Monday though!!

It may be a bit wet at the moment, but that didn't stop these hardy souls from the US enjoying a road trip that included Dartmoor, Ashburton, Plymouth Hoe.........................in fact at one stage they even pretended to be the Beatles.......... all this in a single day 🙂

Today is the 80th anniversary of Excercise Tiger, when 749 American GI's perished out in Lyme Bay whilst practicing for the Normandy Landings. Those perished had an average age of 18yrs. We visit Slapton Sands during our "Devon at War" tour

In an attempt to gain a slightly better understanding of what it was really like to be a tin miner in Cornwall I, along with some friends, spent an amazing afternoon with Ben of Cornwall Underground Adventures.............wow, talk about being outside my comfort zone and had to remember we had all the safety equipment, the miners didn't. A real eye opener
