Sally and Rob welcome you to stay in one of their quirky self catering holiday venues. Art house Vintage and Art House Marine are situated in the crofting township of Heaste. A beautiful place to relax and escape the pace of modern living. Heaste is 5 miles along a single track road from Broadford on the Isle of Skye, where there are restaurants, food takeaways,post office, supermarket with auto t

eller and petrol/diesel station. In Sally and Rob’s garden, Art House Vintage, a 1930’s style lorry and Art House Marine, a land based 22ft yacht, have unsurpassed views of the mainland hills of Knoydart, Loch Eishort and Sleat peninsula with island of Rum completing the panorama. Introducing Art House Vintage! From mid May 2021 we will offer our guests the option of staying in our quirky self catering accommodation.
Art House Vintage is a replica 1930’s style lorry, totally built and fitted by Rob, including a vintage looking AA box (Automobile Association),which doubles up as a shower and toilet. It is parked in a beautiful spot on the croft with magnificent views across to the mainland mountains.

We are at present closed in accordance with Scottish government rules.After much deliberation about how we can make our home safe for our guests and for ourselves, we have decided not open this season.
We are planning a self catering option which maybe ready this Autumn 2020. As soon as we can we'll put details and photos on the website and here on Facebook.
We look forward to welcoming you next year, when hopefully our world will be safer. We'll miss you!

COVID 19 - We are at present closed in accordance with government rules. We’re not taking any bookings until after the end of July, and this may be subject to change, following further announcements from the Scottish parliament. If you have a reservation during this time period, and haven’t already heard from us, we may have to cancel your stay.
If you would like to make a provisional booking from August onwards, you can do this without making a deposit, and on the understanding that the reservation can be cancelled by either party at short notice (we would aim to give at least one weeks notice) with no costs incurred by either us or you as a guest.
The way we operate will have to change. This will be subject to advice and government guidelines. There will be self check in, a serve yourself breakfast in your room, and we won’t clean your room during your stay. Before your stay, the room will be cleaned, and then deep cleaned using anti bacterial/disinfectant. We will begin by opening 2 double rooms.All our rooms have ensuite bathrooms. It may be preferable, that if two rooms are occupied it is by a family or friends that are happy to do this. If you would prefer to have the house to yourself please contact us for advice.
Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time. We hope we can offer you an enjoyable and safe stay at Art House, if not this year, sometime in the future.

Corona virus- due to the present crisis we have taken the decision to close until the end of June 2020 when we will review the situation. Our thoughts are with all our guests past and present! Take care everyone and follow the advice you're given so we can get through this.
