Viking Bay, Broadstairs, Kent was like a Where’s Wally photo today 😂

This was at 6:30

Madness. Just madness

Had to go to Kent Coastal Holiday Properties but couldn’t get up the road. 20 mins round the block and back home so I could then just push willow with the hiking bag on my back as had to get shopping. Then found someone had stole one of our spaces on private property and parked for the day ! Had to buy glass 1litre bottles of apple juice and pints of milk so 30kg and 3 miles later (after willow wanted to do the grand tour of folk week ) and I finally made it back up the hill and home !

I’ve had easier days - on the hottest day of the year 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Very poignant moment this morning for D Day 80 year's anniversary (this Thursday )

Stone Bay beach, at the bottom of Kent Coastal Holiday Properties Seven Seas house in Broadstairs this morning, with the Royal British Legion marking 80 soldiers in the sand with poems and prayers to remember the those who gave their lives so selflessly, so we can live with the freedom we have today

Oh the nostalgia !

Photo of the Old Curiosity Shop in Broadstairs from the 80s - who remembers it?

It’s one of my earliest memories and a huge reason why Kent Coastal Holiday Properties exists and I ultimately moved here

Many people wandered through the streets up to 60 years ago … and now come back for a holiday with us to wander those some streets, the majority unchanged
