A report published today by Visit Kent, shows impressive growth in Thanet’s tourism industry in 2023.

Visitor numbers reached 99% of pre-pandemic levels, with 4.6 million people visiting the district in 2023, up 18% on 2021.

The tourism sector added £349 million to the local economy, a rise of 65% since 2021. It provides 19% of all jobs in the district.
