Cotswolds Place provides a stylish, 17th Century holiday home for rental in the centre of Broadway village, England. We’re a family-run small business with understanding of your holiday dreams and 12 years’ experience bringing them to reality. This is a sweet first floor apartment on Broadway’s lovely High Street, directly opposite the famously swish Lygon Arms Hotel, with its world class restaura

nts, bar and spa. Romantic for 2 and fun for 4, with 2 double bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and 350 years of character in every wonky wall. Smart heating and remote control lighting sit alongside ancient oak beams and original stone mullion windows. A private garden is all yours, with the village at your doorstep. We have guests in Broadway for Christmas, another arrival on Friday for Twixtmas and one straight after for the New Year - busy!

Meanwhile Tarkan’s in Istanbul for Istanbul Place Apartments (our apartment rental business there) so it’ll be myself and our son Eren - back from London - Christmassing together at home this year 💫

It’s nearly Halloween and many decorative pumpkins are to be found on a wander around Broadway 🎃

Should you need even more of them a 20 minute drive will get you to Cotswold Farm Park for family pumpkin carving or face painting activities. After dark there’s a UV light experience - do book ahead for everything though.

But perhaps your preference is to be snuggled up on a sofa with a drink and movie?! We understand - this is also quite possible when you stay ✨

What’s your Halloween style?!

Cotswolds Place apartment rental is mostly booked up over the next few weeks but there’s a window of availability between Nov 8th and 15th if you fancied a getaway.

Stay with us in Broadway and the beautiful Cotswolds Way is on your doorstep, quite literally, with lots of other walking and cycling routes a short distance away 🙌🏻

There’s a growing library of maps and guidebooks in the apartment, but we recommend epicentre, formerly landmarkstoresuk, just a few doors up the High Street, for many more plus any suitable clothing you might need or just fancy.

Alternatively you don’t have to go anywhere! Watch the walkers from your windows doing their thing - and have a think about it for next time…

As the summer holidays wind down have you thought ahead about what to do next half term?

We currently have availability for the last week of October into early November.

The property - and its cosy sofa for snuggles - makes a great break for children. Country walks, interesting museums and a contemporary climbing/play area are all steps away in the village - with all the Halloween feels at the end of October 🎃

But if you need a break yourself that’s fine too - it’s a stylish, effective hideaway!

If you have a garden did you grow peonies this year?
How was it for you? ✨

We struggled with ours and only 1 of the 3 plants did well - the others took a hit from all the rain and had to be cut right back to remove damaged bits - I’m a bit nervous about how they’ll recover next year to be honest.

But these ones were lovely and appreciated all the more 🙌🏻

Whenever possible we cut homegrown blooms for our guests to have an arrangement waiting on arrival - all white and relaxed is our thing.

Thanks to and who continue to be amazing for this learning curve (still very much on it!) and giving encouragement along the way.

Ready for spring

In less than three weeks spring officially starts 🙌🏻 (March 20th according to the Met Office) Broadway’s High Street is particularly beautiful then. It’s been a long winter and we can’t wait - how about you?
