Well - where to start?!
Max and I are absolutely blown away to have won the regional “Best Self-Catering or Unique Stay” category at the Scottish Thistle awards last night! 🤩

We never expected for a moment that we might win, especially being considered alongside our awesome fellow nominees and

We feel very fortunate and very proud ( and also just a wee bit tired and hungover🥴).

Unfortunately some guests have had to cancel their stay, and as a result we have some very rare last minute availability for August.

We have four nights from the 12th—16th now up for grabs, with a minimum 2 night stay. We have lowered the price of these nights to make it even more attractive!

There are now three different ferries from Ardrossan, Troon and Claonaig to get to us. As of this morning there were definitely foot passenger tickets on all these sailings, and car availability on both the Troon and Claonaig ferries - so please check out the Calmac website for further info.

Chuffed to bits to receive this news today!
We found out that we’ve made it to the regional finals of the Visit Scotland Thistle Awards for “Best Self-Catering or Unique Stay” 🥳

Massive thanks to all our lovely guests for their support and awesome reviews, and to the judges for recognising what we do.

Good luck to our fellow nominees - esteemed company indeed!
Now we look forward to a great night at the awards ceremony in Sept, and an excuse to buy some pretty shoes! (me not Max 😂).

As many of you know, our business is located at our home. It was our teenage son’s birthday this week so we made the decision to block off a night from bookings and allow him to throw a party to celebrate.
Over 30 teenagers, loud music, beach fires, playing pool, dancing, and a LOT of alcohol consumed! 🥴 Definitely the right decision, and a great time was had by all. A few sore heads this morning but back to normality today, and ready for our next guests to check in ☀️😎

Apologies for being a bit quiet on here recently. We took ourselves off on a family holiday to Portugal with our two boys. This was our first holiday overseas in 8 years and it was so amazing. The “boys” are now 15 & 17 so we’re forbidden from sharing any family photos ( obvs!) so these’ll have to do. As you can see Max and I had a great time!🤣😎
It was great to kick back and switch off for a wee while. Back to reality now 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
