So yesterday afternoon we decided to start painting the outside of the cottage. We have guests arriving today and this is where we are! Hopefully they don’t mind a half painted cottage! 🤷‍♀️

Dale and I took a much needed day off yesterday and walked 15 km of the coastal path around valley of the rocks. Truly breathtaking scenery. Even managed lunch and coffee at Charlie Fridays.

** Equipment Hire Update **

Good evening all. We hope you've had a great weekend. We are excited to announce that we will now be offering canoe and rowing boat hire, along with our kayaks and stand up paddleboards.

Equipment hire and day launch for visitors wishing to use their own equipment on the lake is available Wednesday - Sunday, 10.00am -4.00pm.

Safeguarding our visitors and team of employees is our priority and therefore we have certain measures in place to limit the spread of coronavirus and maintain the safety of everyone. Therefore if you wish to launch your own equipment at Wimbleball Lake or hire ours you must:

• Book both self launch and hire in advance via our website - https://southwestlakes.checkfront.co.uk/reserve/?category_id=111,112
• Ensure that you only launch well within your competency
• Have appropriate third party insurance if you are using your own equipment
• Double kayaks, canoes and rowing boats only available to hire to those from the same household
• Wetsuits and buoyancy aids will be available for those hiring our equipment but please bring your own wetsuit if you have one
• Maintain social distancing at all times and adhere to government instructions
