They are absolutely hilarious and will be in charge of keeping an eye on mice sneaking down from the woods.

Tree hugging is so calming and nourishing.

Here in Ulpha you can meet many of our tree friends. And they are just in front of the door step of our little "Nest".

One of my first magical experiences in Cumbria was happening in the Duddon Valley 6 years ago.

Richard and I went for a walk in the Wallowbarrow gorge and there we saw them. Salmon!

Like silver arrows jumping upstream the river and waterfalls. A determination and power that I cannot describe with words.

And now we are back, following our own path back home.

This year we will see them again, in front of our doorstep. Such a blessing!

We invite you to stay in the breathtaking Duddon Valley.

Explore the walks in front of the doorstep, jump over stepping stones to cross the Duddon River, go for a refreshing swim in the sunshine and CELEBRATE LIFE 🧡

"The Duddon Nest" is available today Saturday 18th May (arrival at any time) until Monday 20th May (check out 10 am) for 2 nights for only 110 £ per night. For your dog we charge 20 £ extra.
