Cape Wrath Trail North
Departs 22nd May – last two places remaining !!

Now, there is mainstream walking in Scotland on the traditional long distance walks such as the West Highland or Great Glen Ways or there is something quite different.

Somewhere that offers a complete sense of being in a remote place against a background of absolute tranquillity.

The northern section of the Cape Wrath Trail from Ullapool to Cape Wrath and Durness offers just that. Walk in the company of a small group of like minded people and enjoy that sense of achievement of completing the 95 mile route through some of the most spectacular scenery Scotland has to offer.

Contact the Polmont Office for more details and a special price.

It’s been a fairly hectic few months at WAS HQ, so we’ve decided to head off to the Highlands for a few days. With the kids breaking up from school for the summer holidays, it’s the perfect time for a wee family break.

It’s been absolutely glorious so far. Let’s hope for more of the same for the next few days.

Our adventures have taken us to Pitlochry, Fort William, Glenfinnan, Roy Bridge, Morar and now Drumnadrochit.

The trip culminates in my taking part in the Great Glen Way Ultramarathon this Saturday. 71 miles non stop across a fair few ups and downs. Is that the perfect way to end a relaxing few days?

P.S. We’re still monitoring emails so work’s not completely abandoned 🤣
