This morning we head north following the coast road to Whitby, the famous fishing port which was once the home of Captain James Cook. High above the harbour stands the 7th century Whitby Abbey, the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula. We have time to wander around the narrow streets and busy harbourside before leaving for a scenic ride across the moors to Pickering.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
A free day to discover the varied attractions of Scarborough. Enjoy the delightful promenade in the Belvedere Gardens, take a short walk to the town centre and shops, or amble down to the beaches of South Bay or the busy little harbour. Have a look at the restored Open-Air Theatre, built in the 1930s and reopened by Her Majesty the Queen in 2010. Explore the town with its indoor markets and antique shops or walk up to Scarborough's fortress castle and enjoy the views across the bays.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥
This morning we leave for a day in the ancient and historic city of York. In York there are lots of things to see and do-The National Railway Museum, The Jorvik Centre, The Castle Museum, stroll around the city walls, wander around the excellent shops, explore the many quaint little alleyways, and, of course, no visit to York is complete without seeing the magnificent York Minster. Late afternoon we return to Scarborough.

Stirling is also home to many shops and attractions for you to explore. We will then head to the Kelpies where you will have some free time to explore these iconic equine sculptures that are not to be missed.

Today we head north to visit Lancaster Castle. Dating back almost 1,000 years, the castle occupies a city-centre hilltop location on the site of three successive Roman forts. Described by English Heritage as "the Northwest's most important historic and archaeological monument" it has a long history associated with law and order and crime and punishment. You'll find out more about the castle's fascinating past on a guided tour. Following our visit to the castle, you'll have some time to explore Lancaster at leisure before we return to our hotel for dinner.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
This morning we head to the 18th Century Lytham Hall-the finest Georgian House in Lancashire. It was once the ancestral home of the colourful Clifton Family, who were accused of conspiracy during the Lancashire plot to restore James II to the throne. Our guided tour tells us more of the history of the family and takes in beautiful plasterwork, Gillow furniture, and historic paintings. You'll also have to explore the mature parkland surrounding the hall. In the afternoon we'll then return to our hotel where you have time to relax and enjoy our base of Lytham St. Annes. Perhaps wander around the elegant parks and gardens or take a stroll along the restored Victorian Pier before dinner this evening.

Today we head to Lancashire's famous seaside resort of Blackpool. No trip to Lancashire would be complete without a visit to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom where you will enjoy live music from the Mighty Wurlitzer and enjoy an Afternoon Tea Experience. Our hotel for this tour is the Peebles Hydro Hotel. The original building was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in 1907. The hotel is part of the Crieff Hydro group and offers excellent facilities including a swimming pool, restaurant and all the modern-day luxuries you would expect from a hotel of this standard. The hotel has a lift.

Departing from your pick up point, we will head for the Peebles Hydro for 4 nights dinner, bed and breakfast.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗪𝗢
This morning we depart and head for Scotland's capital to visit the magnificent Edinburgh Castle for a guided tour. Please note this tour takes place outdoors and requires visitors to walk on steep and cobbled walkways. After the guided tour enjoy the castle at your leisure before having free time in Edinburgh, returning to the coach later in the day. For this excursion the coach will drop you near Edinburgh Castle and meet you later in the day at a central pick up point, this means you will be required to make your own way to re-join the coach.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
After breakfast we travel to the small town of Galashiels which is located on the Scottish Borders, with extensive history in the textile industry. We will then make our way to Selkirk, one of Scotland's oldest Royal Burgh's. You will have free time to explore the historic streets which has much to offer.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥
Today we will have a relaxing day at the hotel to enjoy the Hotel and all it has to offer. You also have the option to add on a Gin Distillery Tour at the hotels very own 1881 Distillery. The tour includes a welcome drink, savoury nibbles, gin tasters with tonic and a miniature drink to enjoy at home. The tour costs £30.00pp and can be added at the time of booking.

The Royal Hotel, Oban is located in the heart of the coastal town of Oban on the West Coast of Scotland. Providing a gate way to the Scottish Highlands and Hebridean Islands, the hotel facilities include lounge and bar. 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗪𝗢
This morning after an early morning breakfast we travel on the morning ferry from Oban over to the Isle of Mull. If you are lucky, it is possible to spot marine wildlife such as dolphins and whales on the ferry crossing. Our ferry will dock at Craignure and we take in the sights as we travel north to the colourful harbour town of Tobermory. You may recognise this harbour from appearing on the famous children TV show Balamory. We have free time to explore the colourful streets, many independent shops and a chance to obtain lunch before we return back to the mainland.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
After enjoying breakfast today we head north to the Glencoe Visitor Centre where we will learn about the fascinating history of the area. This picturesque location has also been used in many films including Hagrid's Hut in Harry Potter so offers plenty of photo opportunities on the spectacular viewing platform. Later, we return back to Oban for free time to explore.

We will begin our day by heading to Inverness to join the dolphin spirit boat cruise which lasts approximately two hours passing through the Chanonry narrows between Fort George and Fortrose. In the afternoon we head to the capital of the highlands, Inverness where you will have free time to explore at your leisure.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
After a leisurely breakfast we head for the Highland Wildlife Park which is situated in Kingussie. The Highland Wildlife Park is a gateway to the natural world where people can experience nature and learn about the challenges facing wildlife. We then depart for Aviemore where you will have free time to explore the town with the option to continue onto the Cairngorm Mountain Railway Centre, tickets to be purchased at your own discretion and are not included.

After breakfast we depart and head for home.

We then head to Crathes Castle, a 10th century castle with beautiful walled gardens and grounds. We will then return to our hotel for our evening meal.

𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘
Departing after breakfast we head for Aviemore to join the Strathspey Railway where you will enjoy a circular journey on the heritage railway before heading back to Aviemore for some free time. We return to the hotel in the afternoon.

After breakfast we depart the Carrbridge Hotel and begin our homeward journey.
