⚠️ Buckie Harbour

There has been an oil spill at Buckie Harbour.

The Road is temporarily closed.

The Council Teams are currently working hard to clean everything up.

A small amount has gone in the water, this is also being dealt with appropriately.

The gritter is working along the road and has dealt with most of the slippery bits, however cleaning work is ongoing.

The clean up should be sorted by mid-morning, and the road will fully open then.

I am informed that all the proper procedures are being followed.

Today my canine volunteers headed to Sheilmuir Farm enclosed dog field to conduct thorough testing! They gave it 5 ⭐️'s!! It's a really good (and big) site, very natural with lots of trails for exploring as well as water for mud lovers like Rue 😂 A picnic bench for the humans, water facilities for thirsty pooches and they offer sessions for only £5 Mondays and Fridays. Overall we highly recommend it, a great option and really close to the cottage 😊

The 2024 season was pretty short due to delays in getting our STL licence through. However we're looking forward to being open fully in 2025 and in fact have just got our first booking 😊
