The Camellia by the cottage is absolutely covered in blooms. It’s especially pleasing as this was a gift from my parents when we moved in, many years ago, and I had to transplant it. So happy to see it thriving.

We have the loveliest guests in our cottage. We enjoy meeting and getting to know them a little, during their stay. Today, our guests gave us these beautiful flowers and wine as a thank you gift. A totally unexpected treat and much appreciated. 😊

Winter flowers, Spring is coming. The Hellebore steals the limelight. Really pleased with the snowdrops, as I took a little clump from a local field, and have divided them over the last few years and spread them around the borders and now have loads. I took a photo of a solitary flower, so you can see the pretty detail of the simple flower.

I hope our guests like the new coordinated toiletries I’ve sourced. It will also reduce our single plastic use, which has to be a good thing.

The sweet peas are still going strong. There’s been an absolute abundance of flowers which have helped to supply fresh flowers for all the guests staying in the cottage. The scent is beautiful.

This is a newly refurbished cottage, which was originally a farm workers cottage, on a dairy farm.

It’s quaint and very nicely finished. The log burner makes the sitting room very cosy.

The cottage is attached to a stable block, and forms a u-shape of out-buildings, including our carpentry workshop.

The main farmhouse is close by, but separate.

We have large gardens, which guest are welcome to use, including a barbecue and pizza oven.

Rural location, but close to lots of amenities.

Ideal base for North Wales coast and Snowdonia, plus Chester. Great road links so also easy to reach Liverpool and Manchester.
