The Pebble is a detached, two-bedroom bungalow with a spacious open-plan feel and a verdant, enclosed, south-facing garden. The interior is beautifully styled and has a calming neutral palette enabling you to relax and unwind during your holiday. This idyllic coastal retreat offers flexible accommodation for up to four people all year round. LIVING AREAS
Step inside the welcoming entrance hall and
head through to the light, bright and spacious lounge. After a busy day exploring, sit back and relax on the comfortable and cosy sofas. Turn on the Smart TV and catch up on your favourite programs or movies, connect to the WiFi and share your holiday moments with friends and relatives, or simply sit back and enjoy some quiet reading time. From the lounge, you’ll find the dining room which has space to comfortably seat four people whilst sharing a special meal. In the morning open the patio doors, embrace the warmth of the early sunshine and tuck into a delicious breakfast whilst overlooking the garden. KITCHEN
Next to the lounge, you’ll also find the kitchen which overlooks the garden. The kitchen is equipped with everything you’ll need to cater for your group, including an electric double oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave and ample food storage space. BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
Head through the lounge into the hallway to find the two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Both rooms have good storage and hanging space and are tastefully decorated in calm, cool whites. All beds are complete with quality duvets, pocket-sprung mattresses and Egyptian linens, promising restful nights. The family bathroom is fitted with a double-ended bath and features a powerful, traditional Mira thermostatic mixer shower over the bath and WC. OUTSIDE
At the rear of the property is a fabulous south-facing, ‘sun trap’ garden. The garden is enclosed and private with mature shrubs, plants, and a large lawn area so you can relax whilst the children play. On a beautiful evening, step down into the sunny, tranquil garden and enjoy alfresco dining on the patio whilst listening to the sounds of the seaside in the distance. The Pebble has space to leave up to two cars in the driveway at the front of the property, so leave the car behind and avoid parking fees during your stay. JULY & AUGUST: 7 night minimum stay

Built in the 1930s, this is one of the great survivors of the tidal pool genre, setting in stone the form of an existing natural pool (open all year; entry by donation; budeseapool.org). Now managed by local volunteers, this large, trapezium-shaped lagoon is refreshed by the sea twice a day. WE CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!! For the 8th year running Tripadvisor has given us its highest recognition the ⭐Best of the Best Award⭐ only presented to the top 1% of businesses worldwide – ranking us Amusement Park in Europe and in the World! Not bad for a small, family run, family friendly park in rural North Devon!! If you’ve visited you’ll know that our whole team are genuinely beyond amazing in terms of the level of customer service they provide day in day out, so we’re over the moon that their hard work has been recognised once again.
We don’t ‘enter’ these awards, they’re judged solely on the quality and quantity of reviews that Tripadvisor receives and so we owe a massive thank you to all of you who visited and took the time to leave your comments.
It’s fair to say that we’re gobsmacked every time we receive one of these awards, as we obviously offer something very different to most of the other large, corporately owned attractions on the list…as you can imagine, we aren’t particularly comfortable being compared to them and appreciate that we will never measure up for some. We just hope most people will be happy to cheer on the little guy and understand that whilst we can’t compete in terms of thrills rides and visitor numbers, smaller attractions can compete in terms of customer satisfaction.
