🚧ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE 🚧

Please be advised that the A39 between Treskinnick Cross and Wainhouse Corner, Poundstock, Bude, A39 between Wainhouse Corner and Collamoor Head, St Gennys, Bude and Cansford Dip, Otterham, Camelford will be closed from 10-March 2025 to 22-March 2025 (19:00 to 06:00 hours) for essential repairs.

Bude Coast and Canal Circular

A moderately challenging loop trail ~

Distance 🥾 10.6km / 6.5 miles
Time ⏱ approx 2.5 hrs

Get to know this 10.6-km loop trail near Bude, Cornwall. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 33 min to complete.

This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and mountain biking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime.

🐾Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

This trail is an incredible and stunning route, winning at the very pretty coastline and the canal with amazing views.

❗ It is an easy route to follow but when it's raining, the fields can get very muddy, making it necessary to wear proper boots.

This place offers incredible opportunities to snap lots of unique and breathtaking photos.

Camping near Bude, North Cornwall

We are a family run campsite on the beautiful North Cornwall coastline, just a few miles from the ever popular family holiday town of Bude.

We have a warm welcome waiting for you and offer a choice of accommodation on site. Bring your own tent or caravan to pitch up, or book one of our static caravans or holiday apartments. However you prefer to holiday, you will enjoy the stunning views over the North Cornwall coast and out to Lundy Island.

Onsite we have our own farmshop, cafe and takeaway service and children’s play park. We are a small site with 66 pitches and welcome your well behaved canine companions. All pitches are just a short walk from the communal toilet and shower blocks.

Our site is located perfectly for your holiday exploring the North Cornwall coastline, with easy access along the A39 to Bude, Widemouth Bay, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle and Padstow.
