We would like to let you know that with effect from May 19th Budds Barns will be under new ownership.
After 12 very happy years we have decided that the time is right for us to move on.
David and Denise Stear will be taking over the business and we obviously wish them the very best for the future.
It has been an absolute pleasure to welcome all our guests over the years, in particular those who have become regular visitors. We have hugely appreciated your support.
If you have a booking with us it is completely unaffected by the change. You will be receiving an email to confirm this.

We will be very sad to leave but are confident that Budds Barns will be in good hands and go from strength to strength.

This is our new purpose built dog wash which is available for our guests at Budds Barns to use throughout their stay. We hope its going to be really useful for the many guests who bring their dogs to stay with us and would like to give them a wash and blow dry after a day out on the beach or somewhere even muddier.

We charge £20 per dog for stays of a week or more, £10 per dog for short breaks, normally a maximum of 2 but please contact us if you would like to bring more.

We have some limited late availability for May in all our cottages !

Swallow Barn sleeps 4 people in two double bedrooms - from Monday 4th May for 4 nights just £216; week commencing Friday 8th May was £375 now £325 or £60 per night

Wagtail Barn sleeps 4 people in one double and one twin - from Monday 4th May for 5 nights £270; week commencing Saturday 9th May was £375 now £325 or £60 per night.

Carthouse Barn sleeps 2 people - week commencing 2nd May was £290 is now just £210 - or £50 per night; 6 nights from Saturday 9th May just £180 or £50 per night.

All our barns are fully centrally heated and also have woodburners. The price includes all heat and light, linen and towels supplied.

We are child friendly and dog friendly ! Dogs are welcome for a small additional charge of £20

All short breaks are a minimum of 3 nights.

And most importantly we are located close to Sunny Bude - the sunniest place in Britain last year - and just 5 minutes drive from the glorious open beach at Widemouth Bay
