To all our lovely guests, past and future...
Most of you will know how lucky we feel to have our 3 gorgeous holiday cottages surrounded by our own meadows and woodland in north Cornwall (only 10mins to the beach). Many of you have stayed and it is always a privilege to welcome you.

We've done a lot of work to the cottages over the winter and spring with a view to making them as flexible and as special as possible. All 3 cottages now have their own private enclosed garden but maintain access to our communal spaces, wildflower meadow and private woodland walks.
We are very chuffed with the new kitchen in The Stables and its 2nd en-suite which means there are full downstairs facilities for those who might be less able to manage stairs. (We have just one August week left in this cottage if anyone is interested in a stay there.)

We've negotiated with our cleaners to enable us to offer short breaks in both of our other two cottages over the summer- this is pretty much unheard of in the industry over the summer holidays. To facilitate this we've dropped the nightly price and added in a 'preparation' fee ( what we pay to the cleaners/ linen supply) so you can book just a night or two (or if you want to book longer than a week it will work now out cheaper than before). We know that many of you would like to get away but can only spare a few days or want to turn up mid-week or even extend to encompass two weekends so hopefully this will help you.
We are also now able to offer 'couple's rates' in both The Granary and The Stables for those using just one bedroom. Please contact us directly about this.

As ever, I'll endeavour to offer you flexibility to you so do just shout if you fancy a break away. I'll look forward to welcoming you.😊

We are loving the new kitchen layout in The Stables. Just one August week remaining for this cottage which has its own private garden as well as access to all of our communal spaces.

April and May is usually the time that wild English bluebells flower in our peaceful woodland. This year we've spotted a good number of wild iris flowers starting to grow too. They are growing in the wallows created by the deer (red and roe) that shelter in our woodlands.

Feeling pretty chuffed with the updates at The Stables. The downstairs bedroom and shower room looking swanky. Do you remember the new wildlife corridor we started to create in December? Today we've been checking the tree guards to make sure the plants get the very best chance to grow. We are looking forward to seeing it start to grow. No filter on the photo - that's genuine Cornish January sky! Cold outside, but fresh and gorgeous.

Congratulations to Bude Sea Pool on getting recognised by The Times. 🥳This is such a fantastic local facility and is enjoyed by many of our guests both young and older.
