🚫With strong rips which carry out and along the rocks please DO NOT enter the water here, sadly Duckpool claimed a life in 2023🚫

Yesterday Saturday 3rd Sandymouth lifeguards were tasked directly by Falmouth coastguard for an immediate response to 3 children in the water caught in the strong rip current there and were taken out to sea.

This year lifeguards have been tasked 3 times to Duckpool and lifeboat has also had numerous tasking here.

Remember to call 999 and ask for the COASTGUARD if you should see someone in difficulty.

***REVIEW*** The cottage we stayed in was absolutely pristine with everything we needed. It was modern and light with plenty of space for friends and family. The location is great as it’s near Bude and many lovely beaches. The prices are very reasonable for both the cottage and and the general area. Brilliant value for money and a perfect get away.

Now there’s an entrance !!!! With over 690 reviews on Tripadvisor and 651 of those we are STILL always so chuffed when we see that our guests have loved their stays with us.
Prices are live and bookable via our website for last min winter breaks and dreams of Summer 2024.
It’s been a difficult year for small businesses so please do always think (not just for us ) but for any holiday/meal or activity you take to try and book direct to reduce costs, support family business and keep the big bully channels at bay.
