New year, new broomโฆโฆ..at least for Dandelion that is!
He does like a good scratch ๐๐
Another glorious day at West Woolley and the ducks decided itโs time for a pool party. Only with their own household of course....๐
What a beautiful day for the annual Christmas Day swim in Bude in aid of Bude Surf Lifesaving Club. You have to be slightly mad to take part but Iโm told itโs worth it .
Something to pencil in for next year ? ๐ฌ
Another glorious day in North Cornwall and Chilli decided to cool off in a mud bath.
Not looking forward to washing her towel ....๐
Massed starlings at West Woolley Farm
How many starlings can fit in the sycamore tree on West Woolley's drive?
LOTS!
Bude Christmas Day Swim
The annual Christmas Day Swim supporting Bude Surf Lifesaving Club - 500 crazy people going for a swim in the Atlantic yesterday, but all in a good cause. And speeded up it looks and sounds like a flock of starlings!
Great Music at The Old Smithy
Fantastic performance last night from #joannacooke with Nathan Austin, playing in The Loft a great new music venue at #theoldsmithyinn one of our local pubs. Beautiful performances of classics by everyon from Etta James to Jimi Hendrix, this is one of their own numbers called No Stranger To the Blues. Absolutely stunning!
Bude Tunnel Christmas Lights - better than Oxford Street!
Bude's world-famous tunnel has had a Christams makeover, and it's fabulous. Stunning light show, lovely music and just so many smiling faces and excited children. A great start to Christmas!
The Winners!
After much deliberation including a recount demanded by the goats, we are delighted to reveal the winners of our guest photo competition for 2018. Huge thanks to all our lovely guests who sent in photos, and to all of you who took the time to vote for your favourite pictures. Three lucky families will each be receiving a bottle of Camel Valley Vineyard's outstanding bubbly to enjoy over Christmas - if they can wait that long! And yes, we know there are more than three winning photos here, but they happened to have come from three families so they are worthy winners.
Another fantastic set of photos for our annual guest photo competition. Some beautiful shots from as far afield as St Michael's Mount and as near to home as Hartand Quay - thanks Susan!
