That was a different weekend away. 24 hours of being battered by storm Darragh with no electric. Luckily we escaped with only some minor damage to the roof, which could of been a lot worse. Fires roaring and board games soon passed the time. Thankfully all power has now been restored to our beautiful little village.

Time to relax, enjoying a rare break away at the cottage ourselves with Buddy our Border Collie. Tomorrow is all about putting our festive decorations up.

Rhiwagor Waterfalls, located at the far end of Lake Vyrnwy. A beautiful short circular walk which takes in the views of the surrounding mountains

The beautiful Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfalls. At 240 feet high, located just a short drive from the cottage.

Fancy a break away in December we still have two mid week breaks available and two weekends. The cottage will be decorated for Christmas 🎅🏻 also.
