An extensive extension project in Haywards Heath features rolled joints from ceiling to skeiling. When rolling joins, care is taken to ensure that they are equal and level in all directions.

A high-end conservatory roof conversion plastered for a conversion company. Ceiling joints were rolled to provide a continuous smooth finish. In spite of plastering being a wet and messy trade, it is a good example of the time and care taken to ensure the work area is left clean and tidy.

In this outstanding project, the existing separate kitchen and dining area were combined into one large open plan kitchen/dining space. The works required removal of all ceilings and separating walls. This was then followed by the installation of twin downstand beam, boarded and plastered in readiness for the new kitchen installation! It was an incredible result.

This is a video of one of our lovely ceiling replacement projects completed in Hove. A water leak had damaged the lath and plaster ceiling and sections had fallen away from the laths.
Due to the age of the property, it was essential to try and ensure the Victorian swan neck coving was retained. Using SGBs gentle method for removal of the ceiling, we were able to keep all of the coving in place and re-instate a new plasterboard ceiling in place of the lath and plaster ceiling. This is a delicate method but ensures original features can be retained where possible.

A lovely project completed recently in Shoreham where blockwork pattern was applied to the finish coat of render, with further extruded detailing applied above the doors and window to match the existing finish to the property.

Steven Biddle is the Owner of SGB Plastering and also our Master Plasterer.

With decades of experience in various forms of plastering and bespoke coving. He has worked hard to earn his excellent reputation as a highly skilled plasterer, who is also exceptionally clean, tidy and always conscientious whilst working both on site and in private homes.

Steven has a genuine passion for all the plastering work he undertakes and is always happy to discuss designs and ideas in order to help his clients get the most out of the works they are looking to undertake.

Craig Rumbold is our friendly Sales Manager and Site Visit Manager who will be pleased to discuss your enquiry with you, and will be happy to help with any questions or advice.

With a background in both Sales and Project Management, he has years of experience in working with a wide range of clients and project types. He will ensure that your requirements are always understood, and then fulfilled by our teams.

Anne Marie Oliver-Gray is our Administrations and Social Media marketing Manager on hand every step of the way from that first call to the final invoice who will be pleased to help.

With a background in administration streamlining and Social Media Marketing, She has years of experience with working with a wide range of services and clientele. Anne Marie will ensure that the communication between us and our clients is up to date and accurate.

We are a local group of friends supporting each other in this and we in turn would like to support our clients by giving them that looked after service.
