Ian Morrin

Ian Morrin, 36, lives in Burghfield with his wife and his two young children, the eldest of which attends the Burghfield St Mary’s School. As a director with real-world commercial experience and with a stake in a local business that employs 40 people from Reading and its environs, Ian is passionate about ensuring the area offers great community spirit for families, excellent education

opportunities for children, and a thriving environment for business growth. Ian volunteers as First Responder for the South Central Ambulance Service and has an active interest in working to create a strong and sustainable local community for all generations. Carol Jackson

Standing for a third term in Burghfield, Carol Jackson carries a broad palette of skills, great depth of experience and a resident’s understanding of the issues affecting the local community. While one of her main passions is health and social care, Carol’s tenure on the local council has included the successful appeal against a proposed housing development, working with the resource management team, chairing the health scrutiny panel, coordinating the cultural Olympiad across West Berkshire during the 2012 Olympics and sitting on the board for the Watermill Theatre, Newbury. When not actively working on behalf of the Burghfield community, Carol works full time as an office manager for pan-European companies and she is a governor of Burghfield St Mary’s school. She has lived in Burghfield for 21 years, and has a husband and daughter. Graham Bridgman

Graham has lived in Mortimer with his wife Joan for over 18 years. Graham is a solicitor and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management. In his role on West Berkshire Council as a Member for the Mortimer Ward, Graham is Chairman of the Licensing Committee and a member of the Eastern Area Planning Committee and the Governance and Ethics Committee.
