The annual Yoxall Open Gardens and Family Day is back on Saturday & Sunday, July 6th & 7th, 2024 (12:30 PM - 5:30 PM).

Explore 5 beautiful rural gardens in Yoxall, all within walking distance of each other. ‍♀️‍♂️ This is a fantastic opportunity to see unique garden designs, including one featured on Gardeners' World and another from Escape to the Country!

**Fun for the whole family!** ‍‍‍ Enjoy a treasure hunt for the kids, a vintage tractor display, plant sales, and more! Stalls are welcome – message us if you're interested in joining.

Spring is slowly taking over at the Stables.
The daffodils are blooming and the lambs are coming along nicely. We 8 young lambs this year they are all Soey cross.

We're excited to announce the launch of our new digital guide, which will help you plan your stay, provide you with local information and guides, and give you all the information on the property.

The digital guide can be added to your phone or tablet just like an app, or you can even print it off. It will be sent out to all guests via text or email 5 days before you arrive, so you have everything ready for your stay.

Information on the property, including check-in and check-out times, house rules, and amenities
Local information, such as restaurants, attractions, and activities

National Trust Calke Abbey: A great day out just 45 minutes from The Stables

Looking for a day out that's both fun and educational? Then why not visit Calke Abbey, just 45 minutes from The Stables! This National Trust property is home to a beautiful country house, stunning gardens, and a deer park.

Entry to the gardens and parkland is £7, and an additional fee is required to visit the house. But even if you don't go inside, you'll still have a great time exploring the grounds.

Calke Abbey is a fascinating place to learn about the history of the Harpur family and the decline of the British country house. It's also a great place to see wildlife, with deer, owls, and other animals calling the parkland home.

So if you're looking for a fun and educational day out, be sure to add Calke Abbey to your list!
