Unfortunately, the wind got the better of us, so we're heading back to the mainland today instead of tomorrow morning.

Islay, you didn’t disappoint and we will be back! Known as the "Queen of the Hebrides," this island wowed us with its whisky and stunning coastal views. 🥃🌊

We are heading back to Kennacraig now, with a quick stop tonight before heading on to Loch Ness.

Jura is a rugged and sparsely populated island known for its wild, untamed landscapes. The island is dominated by the Paps of Jura, and despite its remoteness, the island has a mystical allure.

🗓️ Just a reminder, I will be out of the office from Friday the 6th of September until the 23rd embarking on a beautiful tour of bonny Scotland! We’ll explore the stunning islands of Arran, Isay, and Jura, and then head to Loch Ness in search of Nessie! 🐉

✨ The adventure continues the East Coast at Chanonry Point, where I hope to spot some dolphins, followed by showing George one of our favourite cities—Edinburgh! Finally, we’ll finish up our travels in Keswick for 3 nights before I return home and to be back in the office on September 23rd.

Day 2 on Board: A Perfect Blend of Relaxation and entertainment.

Today was all about enjoying the best of what this incredible ship has to offer, finishing off with the unforgettable Scarlet Night—from a laid-back day at sea to a lively, vibrant evening.

Here’s a quick rundown of our day:

- Brunch at The Wake were we started things off with a spectacular brunch, soaking in the views while indulging in a three-course breakfast. The steak and eggs were a highlight!

- Bingo Fun with the Happening Crew for a lively game of bingo, Lucy was just one number away from winning $1,000!

- Sun and Sea and time to grab a sunbed and basked in the glorious weather as we sailed through the English Channel.

- We then spent a few hours exploring the ship’s spaces and enjoying some of the onboard entertainment.

As evening fell, the entire ship turned Scarlet, with everyone dressed in vibrant red and ready to celebrate the night.

Our evening started with an Exclusive Cocktail Hour as part of the "Splash of Romance" package. At $250, this package is worth every penny, offering perks like Priority Boarding, daily cold-pressed juices, 3-hour thermal spa passes, Shake for Champagne (stay tuned for that!), exclusive cocktail hours with sultry bites, and more.

We then headed to Extra Virgin restaurant for dinner. The antipasti, fresh pasta, and steak were simply divine, and we ended the meal with homemade gelato from the Affogato cart.

As the night progressed, the pool deck came alive. The energy was electric, with the DJ spinning a perfect mix of familiar hits and fresh remixes. The atmosphere reached its peak on the pool deck, where everyone was caught up in the excitement.

Though the party continued into the night—with options like late-night dancing at The Manor, a serene escape at The Dock House, or karaoke at The Groupie—we decided to call it a night and head back to our cabin.

Virgin Voyages' nightlife truly offers something for everyone, with a perfect balance of relaxation and celebration. Whether you choose to dance the night away or enjoy a quiet retreat, there’s no better way to end a day at sea.

Remember when you book with me, I am with you every step of the way.
99% of the time, everything runs smoothly. But when things don't go to plan, I am at the other end of the phone to help.

This morning started early with a 5:15am email alerting me that my customer’s 8:40am flight to Amsterdam had been cancelled. Within just 5 minutes, I secured the last two seats on the 11:55am flight and called them right before they left the house to let them know the situation. Crisis averted! They’re still off to the F1 this weekend, just a few hours later than planned.

If you are booked with me and your flight gets cancelled, I will book you in the next available flight, rearrange your accommodation & transfers and you don’t need to stress about a thing. You won’t need to call a call centre, hold for hours or join long queues!
