What Is The Accommodation Like? Located just 1 mile east of the Giant’s Causeway, Ruby Stove Cottage is a hidden gem on the North Antrim Coast. This authentic cottage still has the thick stone walls of the original two rooms, where the Browne family raised 5 children in the early 1900’s. It has been modernized over the years, but maintains its unique character, typical of the small dwelling of the local North Antrim farmer’s home. The cottage itself was originally referred to as “Tonduff,” which is the name of its Townland, as it was the hub of farm life there for generations. While being remodeled by John Browne in 2010, a beautiful, Ruby-red wood-burning stove replaced the old coal fireplace, and the cottage gained a new name - Ruby Stove Cottage. Updated for the modern traveler, it now has the following features:
