Chatsworth House; Chatsworth Farm Shop are both fantastic places to visit over the winter period especially on crisp cold days like these! Chatsworth is 10 mins drive from Granby Cottage and there is free parking at Chatsworth or Carlton Lees from 6 January to 12 March inclusive.

If you fancy a winter break we do have a few nice week day spots left this winter (sorry not so many weekends left but please check website). Woodburner and free basket of logs thrown in!

Question time!!?? I'm considering swapping out one of our double rooms for a twin room - so more flexible accomodation for groups / children etc. (same number of beds in total)....

Now that the dust has settled can I just say a huge thank you to all our customers for a wonderful 2024 .

We’re thrilled to share that this year marks our fifth trading year here at Granby Cottage, and we couldn't have made it this far without all of our lovely guests.

To our returning guests, we've made sure we have continued to improve our cottage We’re always looking for ways to enhance your stay. This year, we’ve introduced a lovely new range cooker, a whole new roof to make things extra cosy (and leak free)!, soon to be upgraded bathroom (larger shower), more usable outdoor space.
Plus, you can still expect luxury bedding, a comfy living room, open plan dining space and a woodburner with logs to keep you warm.

- **Single Occupancy Rate**: If you loved our cottage but don't want to return as a group, you can now book just the ground floor (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom) for £290 for 2 nights or £340 for 3 nights during low season or weekdays outside school holidays.

- **Repeat Booking Discount**: As a thank you for being a returning guest, you’ll get 5% off during peak times and 10% off during low seasons when you book directly with us.

- **Dog-Friendly Policy**: Bring your furry friends along! We have no limit or charge for dogs.

Hard to find a cottage that is both tasteful and dog friendly!? We try to strike a balance offering you everything your pooch needs without giving up on the boutique feel we all now look for!

Very open plan for dogs, enclosed garden, outside tap (essential given this horrendous mud inducing weather), LOADs of fabulous walks and the all important Dog Friendly pub or cafe (or 5)!
