Longnor Wood Holiday Park is a small select four star park “just for adults” (18+). We cover over 10 acres incorporating a 4 acre dog walk / recreation field with stunning views. We are located in the heart of the Peak District National Park, an area of outstanding natural beauty, with unspoilt, dramatic rolling countryside and charming villages. Surrounded by woodland and farmland, we provide the

perfect base for exploring the unique and beautiful Peak District. The picturesque village of Longnor is approximately 1¼ miles away, offering a pub, general store, café, post office and chip shop. The cobbled square is the starting point for many lovely walks. The park is a family owned site and is open from 1st March – 10th January, offering the ideal location for your holiday whether you want to just sit and read and watch the plentiful animal life or whether you want to walk, cycle or explore the numerous villages, markets and stately homes that can be found in the locality. We are members of the Tranquil Touring Park Group and are committed to providing you with a memorable holiday in a haven of peace and tranquillity. Currently we have 13 lodges with hot tubs, 6 static caravans also with hot tubs, 2 pods, hardstanding touring pitches as well as tent pitches.

A very happy new year to all of our lovely customers. We have had a very busy year on site with opening our gym, games room, sauna and kitchen. All have proved to be a hit 🏋️🍕🧖‍♀️
We have launched our very own Longnor Wood app (if you haven’t already get it downloaded)
We have also been lucky enough to win not one but three awards this year, AA Heart of England campsite of the year, Best adult only site from campsites.co.uk and finally the Hoseasons Diamond award for best small park relax and explore for the Heart of England.
We have lots of exciting projects starting when we close on the 3rd Jan, so watch this space for updates.

The route takes you through Beresford Dale leading to Wolfscote Dale alongside the River Dove then back up Beggin Dale to return to the pretty village of Hartington.

It is amazing what you see just driving about in the Peak District….

I took this video earlier in the month. I have never known the snow come so fast and then leave so quickly as it did that day. #snow #winterwonderland #lodge #holidaypark #staycation

When it's wet, wander towards waterfalls. As much as having sunny days and blue skies is wonderful, we wouldn't have the lush green country we have without the rain. On the days when it is a bit wet, I like to head towards water, and in particular waterfalls. After a heavy down pour the speed and the noise they create are so impressive to me.
