Our June Beginners quilting course is starting to fill up, but still places available - running from 18th to 20th June. Here are the details:
Day 1 we will go through some basic patchwork techniques and learn how to make a couple of blocks that can be repeated to create a full sized quilt.
Day 2 after finishing the quilt blocks we will sandwich and baste the quilts ready for quilting.
Day 3 we will look at how to quilt and bind your quilt on a domestic machine, hopefully sending you home at the end of the day with a finished quilt.
In between if we have time we might have a go at smaller projects such as a pillow or tote bag to practice your skills.
This is a launch price offer.
Price for the quilting retreat will be £249 in a shared room for two nights accommodation, all home cooked meals, and 3 days of sewing including tuition.
Experienced quilters or sewers are welcome too, price without tuition will be £199 in a shared room.
Non participating partners are welcome to stay and join the group for meals for £99 in a shared room.
