Cognissart is painting with yarn in the this weekend 19-21 July

My demo piece for the will be my entry for After a visit at the weekend for sketches and photos, progress so far has been en plein air in my own garden (the rose gardens are not open Mon-Wed) and for obvious reasons I won't make it this weekend! Our flagship Great Dome Art & Design Fair is fast approaching and 2024 will see an extra impressive event with 50 artisans taking part.
The fair opens with a preview evening on Friday 19th July, 6pm to 8.30pm This year we will have drinks and music to celebrate what is our biggest event for a number of years.
We will also have a special exhibition of collaborative work, undertaken by members in the last 12 months, highlighting how members of PDA work together to support and develop our working practice.
As in previous years many members will be demonstrating their process at their stands. A great opportunity to browse and buy from the region’s premier group of creatives in person.
Open Friday 19th 6-8.30pm, Saturday & Sunday 20/21st 10am – 4.30pm. Admission is £3 (children free) which includes a complimentary show guide and access to all demonstrations.

Visit the Peak District Artisans at their Chatsworth Showcase. Two exhibiting Artists will be on duty each day with demonstrations and the chance to view the work of our newly crowned Young Emerging Artist of 2023 Hollie Clifford. Hollie's work is unique, interesting and beautiful! Well worth a visit. Parking is free while the showcase is on and Chatsworth House is always a wonderful place to view while walking in the stunning grounds or taking a tour of the grand interiors.
