Our £595.00 7-night stay in Gatekeepers Cottage offer is available throughout 2025. This beautiful cottage is located just outside of Caernarfon, 5 minutes from the castle, 20 minutes to Anglesey/Ynys Mon and 18 minutes to Llanberis and Snowdon/ Yr Wyddfa.

ALL 7 night stays in our Gatekeepers Cottage are just £595.

It is dog friendly with two small/medium dogs welcomed at no extra charge or one large dog. It a two bedroom that sleeps up to 4 with one room being able to be made up as a twin should you require.

There is so much to see and do in the area. Gatekeepers is located at the entrance to Plas Dinas, the former home of Lord Snowdon.

There is nothing like making memories and simply spending time together.

Foryd Holiday Cottage is situated on Foryd Bay, an inlet off the Menai Strait and is teeming with wildlife. It has a fabulous hot tub which is perfect for star gazing on a clear night. This time of year the nature reserve that this cottage sits on is filled with bird life. You can now make a booking for your 2025 holiday with availability from April 2025. We ask for a minimum of 4 night's in Foryd.

Another of our favourite days out in North Wales is a trip to Beddgelert. It offers breath-taking scenery and perfect for a walk along the banks of the meandering river Glaslyn. You can board the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways from Caernarfon and travel to Beddgelert itself.

We absolutely love it here! The wild horses are amazing and we were recently treated to witnessing 6 of them together, all enjoying the beauty of Llanddwyn Island. Even though we live here ourselves we still holiday in North Wales and recently captured these beautiful images whilst exploring with friends. It is definitely worth adding to your list of places to visit whilst exploring the stunning surroundings of North Wales.

Two of our cottages are located at Y Foryd which is a partially enclosed intertidal bay on the Menai Strait. At low tide, 250 hectares of sand and mud habitats can be seen, which are important feeding habitats for a number of native and migratory bird species, such as shell ducks, waders, oyster catchers, curlews, lapwing and large flocks of over 5,000 widgeon.

The bay has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and in 1994 it became a Local Nature Reserve because of its importance for wildlife. Many birds visit in winter and during migration, including large numbers of wildfowl and waders such as wigeon which peak at over 3000 birds. More notable species include brent goose, jack snipe, spotted redshank and greenshank.
