Headline: Grey and rather gloomy, but staying dry.

Today: After a chilly start, a widely cloudy day to come, with the best of any brightness confined to the far north. Feeling rather chilly beneath the blanket of cloud, but staying settled with light winds. Maximum temperature 7 ยฐC.

Tonight: Mainly settled overnight, however turning colder with frost developing in rural spots. Cloudy for most, and rather gloomy in places with mist and hill fog returning across higher ground. Minimum temperature -1 ยฐC.

Saturday: Colder than on Friday, with morning frost lingering in rural parts. Then, another cloudy day with some light drizzle across the higher ground. Maximum temperature 5 ยฐC.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday: Remaining cloudy. Patchy light rain is possible through Sunday before more persistent spells arrive from the west on Monday and Tuesday. Feeling chilly, with some frosty nights.
