Why not make time to discover Vanessa's Treasure a new cafe in St Mary's Courtyard off Church Street - open late this week for the Calne Christmas Tree Festival and Calne Christmas Festival of Lights

Here is the menu for my evenings, Thursday till 7.pm Friday till 5pm Saturday till 7.30pm for this week only for all the Christmas tree lights and festival of lights. Hope to see you all soon

Come down to the Heritage Quarter this evening - explore the local shops open until 7pm including The Gift Box, Simply Flowers, Sole Luna, Little Button Jar and Calne Pet Supplies , combine with a visit to the Calne Christmas Tree Festival at St Mary's Church with Calne Silver Band playing 6pm - 7pm and grab something yummy at the new cafe Vanessa's Treasure in St Mary's Courtyard. ,

Not long to go until the Calne Christmas Tree Festival - Late Night Shopping until 7pm in the Heritage Quarter and Calne Silver Band plays in the St Mary's Church 6pm-7pm on Thursday 28 November to launch the event.

The Christmas Tree Festival is open from:
Thursday 28 November 12pm - 7pm
Friday 29 November 12pm - 5pm
Saturday 30 November 12pm - 6pm
Sunday 1 December 11.30am - 4pm

Two hours free parking in the Church Street car park, a short walk from the 55, 42 and 33 bus stops on The Strand.

What's on this half term?? - book onto a LEGO® Engineering Workshop at The REME Museum

It's back! This October Half Term, book your space on our LEGO® Engineering Workshops and get the whole family involved!

Tap into your creative side and build a moving vehicle using genuine LEGO® parts, while learning about engineering.
We recommend these sessions for individuals aged 7 and above, but we can accommodate varied age family groups.

Sessions should be pre-booked to avoid disappointment - included in entry fee.

Discover the Magic of Autumn at Blackland Lakes. Open from 9am - 4pm every day from now until the end of November, and costs just £4 per child.

Our Autumn Trail is open from 9am - 4pm every day from now until the end of November, and costs just £4 per child.

Take part in the quizzes, learn some fun facts about nature and the origins of Halloween, collect leaves for crafts, play in our park and feed the resident pigmy goats too. Halloween costumes are optional, but we do recommend that you wear your wellies for our 1km nature trail.

If you share your trail photos with us, you could be in with the chance of winning a fabulous prize, so don’t forget to tag us or email [email protected]* (please let us know how old you are).

Drinks and snacks are available to purchase every day. Pizzas will be available from 12-2pm throughout Half Term.

Calne Music & Arts Festival at Calne Heritage Centre from Wednesday

OPENS THIS WEDNESDAY! The ‘Festival at 50’ Anniversary Exhibition! As part of the exciting 50th anniversary of the Calne Music & Arts Festival, don’t miss the special ‘Retrospective Exhibition’ at the Calne Heritage Centre, running throughout October. This fascinating display highlights the rich history of the festival and features a selection of colorful and creative pigs from Calne’s beloved Pig Parade 🐷- a community art project that honours both the Festival’s milestone and the 40th anniversary of the demolition of the historic Harris Factory, once the heart of the town.

Be sure to check out the Heritage Centre website for exhibition opening times, and join us in celebrating Calne’s vibrant cultural heritage! 🎨🎶
