Have you discovered Hulne Priory yet?

Carmelite monks founded the priory in 1240, making it the first Carmelite priory in England. The priory was destroyed during the Dissolution of the Monasteries by Henry VIII, but considerable parts of the monastic buildings remain intact as do the 18th-century sculptures of monks praying.

Set in the heart of Hulne Park with its 3000 acres of parkland, walking trails, Gothic tower and incredible views to discover, you can easily spend your days exploring this hidden Northumbrian gem!

It's always a fabulous day, and you might even see us moonlighting with our other passion, with the We'll be on stage singing at 10am at the lifeboat station (and we'll definitely be partaking of the hog roast afterwards too!).

📍 The Loft has availability in early June; for short breaks as well as longer bookings.

During the busy summer season bookings are for full weeks only, with change-over on a Friday. But in June you can still opt for a shorter break with a minimum of 3 nights.
