We parked at lock 10 on the Crinan canal. Had a lovely walk through natural woodlands to Dunadd Fort and back. Bit of a trek - took us about 4 hours including a picnic stop. But so peaceful ❤️

Wishing you all a Happy New Year and that 2024 brings you everything you would wish for. Bookings are coming in so best to book early if you have specific dates in mind. Remember 2 dogs are very welcome to stay free of charge and perhaps more if they are smaller and by prior arrangement. Carradale really is a great place for our furry friends - from beaches to forest tracks there is lots to explore. Whilst the garden is not secure Airds Wood Cottage is just a few steps away from a walk in the woods.
I'm looking forward to welcoming friends old and new back to our lovely part of the world just PM me for more info ❤️
