Resident Crane making a regular appearance along the marshes next to Owlet Lodge (just beyond the silly dog!).

As the UK’s tallest bird the common crane is instantly recognisable with the ruffle of tail feathers and very long legs. Their bugling call is also extremely distinctive.

If you fancied learning a new hobby this year, while enjoying the great outdoors and meeting like minded people then our taster sessions are perfect for you!

Our relaxed sessions let you progress at your own pace and learn different paddling techniques for either kayaking or paddle boarding.

Our taster sessions are on Sunday mornings 9:30-10:30 and alternate
between paddle boarding and kayaking.
