Yesterday in Budapest was amazing. After settling into the Charm Hotel, we kicked off our day at the Great Synagogue, then explored some key sights on the Pest side: the Hungarian State Opera House, St. Stephen’s Basilica, and Váci Street. We crossed the Chain Bridge, took the funicular up to the Budapest Palace and Castle District, then strolled along the Danube Promenade before ending the night with an evening cruise and dessert at Gozsdu Court. Today was more relaxed, we enjoyed a soothing visit to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, a lovely lunch at Robinsons by the boat lake, and spent the afternoon visiting Hero’s Square, Vajdahunyad Castle, and the beautiful City Park. #budapest #citybreak #danube
Arriving in Bratislava, we settled into the beautiful Arcadia Hotel before starting our day with a visit to the hilltop Bratislava Castle, enjoying sweeping city views. We explored the charming Old Town, admired St. Martin’s Cathedral, then took in panoramic sights from the UFO Tower. Just spent a fantastic 24 hours in Vienna! Stayed at the beautiful Grand Ferdinand Hotel, the perfect base to explore the city. The iconic Grand Café, Stadtpark, Karlskirche, Vienna State Opera, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Hofburg Palace, Rathausplatz, and some shopping time Graben & Kohlmarkt.
