Following on from the great news that London Southend Airport will be flying to Tenerife from next summer every Tuesday, I thought I would share with you some of my photos of the Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden which is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World🌎 Set in the tropical North of Tenerife, summer time is an ideal time to visit!

I know I am, I can’t wait! I am so looking forward to spending a couple of weeks just with my family in Spain, just to chill, read a book, play some cards, a nice swim and no doubt they will have me playing loads of golf too 🤣

Finally caught up on Race Across The World over the weekend, I loved watching it as it really brought back memories of my own race across the world type travels which was nearly 20 years ago now (hence the picture quality) 😱 it was also days before smart phones, no WiFi and we had to read maps!! I remember having a budget too for all our accommodation, travel and food. We literally touched down in Bangkok with no accommodation planned, we stayed at various different places, barely spending no more than 2-3 nights in one place so we could see as many places as we could. We spent 5 weeks in Thailand before heading onto Australia for more mad adventures, on our journey back from Oz we stopped in Hong Kong, then Singapore, where we travelled by bus back to Bangkok through Malaysia, I remember spending what felt like days waiting to catch a bus, all just with our backpacks and no phones!! All in all was about 6 months in total! I would love to do it all again one day, even though my work has me a little spoilt with the lovely places I get to stay in these days but I look back on these times with such fond memories and really think this is where my love of travelling came from and really hope I get to do it all again one day!

My first time on a Fred Olsen ship - one word Wow! ⚓️❤️

These are some of my photos of Fred Olsen’s beautiful Borealis, a smaller ship taking up to approx 1300 guests onboard.
I loved this ship, the decor and I could really feel the friendly atmosphere onboard 🥰

Fred Olsen’s average guest age onboard is 63 and they also attract multi-generational families too, I would definitely sail with them with my family ❤️

It’s been a hugely busy week, the summer season is definitely starting to get into full swing now, with lots of customers jetting off on their holidays and many others not long to go! ✈️☀️
