I might be biased, but I think it is one of the best cities in the world. One couple I gave a tour of the city last year called it "better than London"

Considering this is all redeveloped former docklands, it gives an idea of just how big the docks were in their heyday at the end of the 19th Century and beginning of the 20th Century when it was the busiest docks in the world.
