Our Twelth Tour of Christmas is Road Trips.

Most of our tours begin and end in the same location, particularly One Day Tours. Not all tours have to though. With a Road Trip, your tour can start in one location, and finish somewhere else.

Road Trips let you maximise your time in the UK. Combine a Transfer too / from Cardiff with a tour, and instead of travelling direct between Cardiff and the Airport take a more scenic route to see more, or add a few stops along the way to visit more.

If you are visiting Wales as part of a larger tour, we can meet you outside of Wales, show you around Wales, and then take you to somewhere else to say good bye. Our Eleventh Tour of Christmas is Chauffeur Services

From time to time, we have requests from guests who have planned their own tour, but arent comfortable driving in a different country, so ask us to drive them instead of renting a car for their visit.

Our Chauffeur Services allow professional driver in an executive vehicle to be booked for Half a Day (4 Hours), Full Day (8 Hours) or a long day (12 hours), by anyone, for any reason.

With an Evening Booking, a chauffeur can be booked for up to 6 Hours from 4:00pm

Our Tenth Tour of Christmas is Multi-Day Tours

We have a range of Multi-Day Set Tours for those who have more time, to see more of Wales.

Three Day South Wales Tour.
Discover Bannau Brycheiniog, and visit Dan-yr-Ogof National Showcaves. Head into Pembrokeshire, and visit Tenby and St Davids Cathedral, and then travel along the West Wales Coast line to Aberystwyth.
The Third and Final day will see you return to Cardiff, travelling across The Cambria Mountains, visiting Devils Bridge and travelling down through the centre of Wales

Five Day South Wales Tour
Day one will take you into Bannau Brycheiniog. On Day two you will discover The Gower Peninsula and more of Bannau Brycheiniog, before heading to Pembrokeshire. The third day of the tour, will be spent in Pembrokeshire, where you will visit Tenby, Pembroke Castle and St Davids Cathedral. The Fourth Day will see you head up the West Wales Coast, and maybe some Dolphin Spotting before continuing on to Aberystwyth, and then inland across the Cambria Mountains. The final day of the tour will see you head to Hay-on-Wye, a must for any book lover. Lunch in Brecon, and then your tour will climax with a visit to the largest Castle in Wales, Caerphilly Castle.

Ten Day All Wales Tour.
This extravaganza of a tour includes everything in our Five Day South Wales Tour and much more. In addition to everywhere on our Five Day South Wales Tour, our ten day all Wales Tour includes three full days in North Wales, exploring Snowdonia, Anglesey and visiting places such as Harlech Castle, Caernarfon Castle, Bettws-y-coed, Conwy Castle and Wrexham. Our Ninth Tour of Christmas is Custom Tours.

Almost half the tours we carry out are Custom Tours. With a custom tour, we curate the perfect tour for you, based on your interests, the things you enjoy and the things you want to see and do.

For some this means creating something unique from scratch. If could be to a part of Wales, we dont currently have a set tour for. It could be taking different things from different set tours to create something unique.

For others they will have one or two places they wish to go that have special meaning for them. This could be ancestral links. Somewhere that holds a special meaning to them, either spirtually or historically. Or it could be somewhere they have been before and want to go back to. Using our expert knowledge, we will then curate a day based around these one or two locations, adding extra places to visit, we believe they will like.

When we create a custom tour, our guests are fully involved in the planning process. When we have an idea of what they want to see and do, and where they would like to go, we put together between 3 and 5 tour proposals for them to review. A preferred option is chosen, and we tweak and ammend this until we have created the perfect tour for them. This could even include taking different elements from different proposals.

Custom Tours can range from a 4 hour half day tour, to a 7 or 8 day tour, or even longer, around Wales. Whilst Wales is very much our area of expertise, we can even include parts of England in our tours if desired.

Our Eigth Tour of Chistmas is our Gower Tour.

Over the years, we have curated numerous custom tours that have included the Gower AONB, so we have created a new Gower Tour for 2025.

The tour begins by heading to Swansea, Wales' 2nd largest city. You will head through the city, and around Swansea Bay, passing its magnificent beach, and arriving at The Mumbles. Here you will have some time to stretch your legs, and take in the views across Swansea Bay.

You will then head into The Gower, the UK's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and home to some of the best beaches and countryside in the UK. You will visit bays such as as Caswell Bay, Oxwich Bay and Port Eynon along the way.

At Port Eynon, you will have the choice of walking part of The Wales Coastal Path, along the coast to Rhossili Bay, and rejoining your driver there, or being driven to Rhosilli Bay. At Rhossili Bay, you will have the chance to take in the views and coastline, maybe even pick some wildflowers.

After departing Rhossili Bay, you will head inland towards Cefn Bryn Ridge. The second highest peak on The Gower, here you will have 360 degree views for miles across the The Gower. You will also have the chance to visit King Arthurs Stone, which legend says was thrown there from Carmarthen by the legendary King of the Britains. King Arthurs Stone, also marks a neolithic burial chamber that is over 6,000 years old.

If there is time, you will also visit Weobly Castle, on the northen coast of the Peninsula, before returning to Cardiff. Built in the 14th Century, the castle has views across the Loughor Estuary and Llanrhidian saltmarshes.

Our Seventh Tour of Christmas is our Castles & Mountains Tour

New for 2025, our Castles & Mountains Tour combines tour of our other tours into one amazing day.

The day begins in The Wye Valley and takes in Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey, Monmouth & Raglan Castle. The tour will drive past all four locations, and you will have the choice of stopping at two of them, which two are up to you.

In the afternoon, you will head into Bannau Brycheiniog. You will driven through towns such as Abergavenny & Crickhowell, and as you head deeper into Bannau Brycheiniog, the rolling green hills of The Wye Valley and Monmouthshire, will grow into the mountains of the National Park, including Pen-y-Fan, the tallest mountain in the UK, south of Snowdonia. Along the way, you may see Birds of Prey such as Buzzards, Kestrels and Red Kites as you make your way to the historic town of Brecon.

In Brecon, you will have the chance to get out of the car and explore the town. From Brecon, you will be driven through the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog as you head back to Cardiff at the end of the day.

Our Sixth Tour of Christmas is our Whisky & Waterfall Tour.

This full day tour will allow you to experience two of Bannau Brycheiniogs most loved things. Whisky made using fresh Brecon Beacons spring water, and Waterfalls.

First stop will be Penderyn Distillery, arguably Wales' most famous Whisky. You will have the opportunity to visit their Headquaters and take a tour of the distillery, that brought Welsh Whisky back to life after an absence of 100 years.

After touring the Distillery, you will head towards Porth-yr-Ogof. Here you will have the opportunity to visit the largest Cave opening in Wales, and after that, walk the Four Waterfalls Trail, where you will have the chance to visit four of the best Waterfalls in Bannau Brycheiniog. Alternatively, you could exchange the largest Cave Opening Wales, and the Four Waterfalls Walk, for The Batcave, and Henrhyd Falls, the tallest waterfall in South Wales

Our Fifth Tour of Christmas is our Brecon Beacons Tour.

Discover the powerful, and dramatic beauty of Wales' 2nd largest National park with a full day chauffeur driven sightseeing tour of Bannau Brycheiniog.

Leaving Cardiff, you will be driven up through the Rhondda Valley. The Rhondda Valley has a rich coal mining history, and you will be driven through the former coal mining communities in the valley, and up The Rhigos Mountain. At just under 500m, The Rhigos Mountain is one of the tallest in the area, Near the summit, you will stop and have the chance to look across Bannau Brycheiniog.

You will then descend the mountain, and head into the national park itself, where you will be taken on a voyage of discovery, as you are taken to some of the best viewpoints in the national park. Throughout this part of the tour, aswell as stopping at various locations we know offer stunning picture oportunitunes, your driver will stop as and when requested so you can take as many pictures as you wish.

Eventually, you will arrive in the town of Brecon, on the northern edge of Bannau Brycheiniog. Here you will have some time to explore the town, and maybe enjoy a boat trip along the canal before returning to Cardiff.

Our Fourth Tour of Christmas is our popular Wye Valley.

Described by one guest this year as “a great adventure that spans centuries of Welsh history, in the middle of a beautiful countryside.“ Our Wye Valley Tour has been one of our most popular tours over the last couple of years and takes in historic sites and the stunning Welsh Countryside.

First stop of this tour is Chepstow Castle. Perched on Limestone cliffs on the banks of The River Wye, Built in 1067, Chepstow Castle is the oldest stone castle in the UK.

A short drive from Chepstow Castle, and you will arrive at Tintern Abbey. The romantic ruins of a masterpiece of Gothic Architecture, as been wowing tourists for over 250 years.

You will then be driven up through the beautiful Wye Valley AONB taking in the views and greenery, and passing through "tree tunnels" on your way to the historic town of Monmouth. You will drive through the birth place of King Henry V, and have the chance to visit Monnow Bridge. The UK's only surviving medieval gated bridge.

From Monmouth, you will leave The Wye Valley behind and head into the equally picturesque Monmouthshire countryside, and arrive at Raglan Castle. Built to impress, rather than intimidate or protect, Raglan Castle is one of Wales best castles. From the top of the Gwent Yellow Tower, you will have unrestricted 360 degree views for miles across the Monmouthshire Countryside, and the edge of Bannau Brycheiniog.

Finally, if there is time at the end of the day, you will stop in Caerleon. Home to one of the largest Roman Legions in the UK for around 200 years, Caerleon has some of the best preserved Roman remains anywhere in the world.

Our Third Tour of Christmas is our Three Castles Tour

First stop on the tour, is Caerphilly Castle. The largest Castle in Wales, over the years our guests have marvelled at the sheer size and scale of the Castle built in the 13th Century. Famous for having the best water defences of any Castle in Europe, and a tower that leans further than The Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Next is a short drive to the equally magnificent, but totally different Castell Coch. It is hard to imagine how the two Castles could be any different, but are each equally magnificent. Where Caerphilly Castle imposes strength and awe due to its size, Castell Coch inspires wonder and romance. A fraction of the size of Caerphilly, Castell Coch is a magical fairytale castle nestled in the hills overlooking Cardiff.

Llandaff Cathedral is the third stop of the tour. No visit to Cardiff is really complete without visiting the magnificent 900 year old Cathedral. Built on the site of an existing church in the 12th Century, it is believed there has been a church for one religion or another on the site for over 3000 years.

After Llandaff Cathedral, you have a choice of where the tour ends. Choose between either Cardiff Castle, where you will be left to visit the Castle with 2000 years of history and the Victorian and Edwardian Arcades of Cardiff city centre in your own time. Alternatively, you will say good bye to your driver in Cardiff Bay. Centred around a 550 acre freshwater lake, "The Bay" is Europes largest waterfront re-development where the worlds largest coal export docks once was. You will have the opportunity to enjoy some lunch in one of the many restaurants, bars and cafe's overlooking the bay.

Our Second Tour of Christmas is our Full Day Cardiff Tour.

Your day begins with a visit to Llandaff Cathedral, a maginificent 900 year old Cathedral in the city of Llandaff. A City in a City.

From Llandaff Cathedral, you will head to Cardiff Castle, where you can visit one of the best Castles in Wales, with a history spanning 2000 years. Here you can see the 2000 year old Roman Walls, Climb the Norman Keep dating back to the 11th Century. Discover the opulent Georgian Accomodation and experience how the castle would have felt as an Air-Raid Shelter for nearly 2000 people in World War 2.

After Cardiff Castle, take a relaxing cruise along the River Taff to Cardiff Bay, where you can explore Europes largest Waterfront re-developlment centred around a 550 acre freshwater lake on the site of what was once the worlds biggest coal exporting docks.

A two hour driven sightseeing tour of the capital of Wales. Our 101st (and final) tour of 2024 is our Three Castles Tour with a father and two sons from Australia.

Starting off with the impressive Caerphilly Castle, then off to the nearby Castell Coch. No visit to Cardiff is really complete without a visit to Llandaff Cathedral. Our guests visited Cardiff Castle yesterday, so we will be ending the tour in Cardiff Bay today instead.

Today we carried out our 100th Tour this year. Suitably, it was a Cardiff City Tour, which was the first tour we carried out this year, and also our first every tour in 2019.

What about the othe 98 tours carried out so far this year?

Nearly half of all our tours this year were custom tours. 47 in total
Our Cardiff City Tour was the 2nd most popular, with a total of 24 being carried out.
Our Three Castles Tour, which we launched in June, comes in at number 3, with a total of 13 tours in 6 months.
The fourth most popular tour was our Wye Valley Tour, with 11 tours completed.
The remaining 5 tours were made up of some of our other Set Tours such as Brecon Beacons Tour, Whisky & Waterfall Tour, 3 and 5 Day South Wales Tours etc.
