Amanda Barber died peacefully & went to be with The Lord on 26 July 2024, aged 50. So kind, loving & fun, beautiful on both the inside and out, she is dearly missed.
The much loved Wife and best friend of Antony (Tony), an incredible Mummy to Leo & Madeleine, beloved daughter to Annette and sister to Anthony.
A public committal service will be held at Bryn Bethel Cemetery, Moylegrove on Monday 19th August at 11:00, followed by a celebration of Amanda’s life at New Life Church, Cardigan at 12:30, followed by refreshments. Both of these are open to all. If Amanda touched your life in any way, please join us to celebrate and remember her, you’re so very welcome.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to “Hope For Justice” an anti human trafficking charity c/o Colin Phillips and Daughters Funeral Directors, 4 Morgan Street, Cardigan SA43 1DF Tel: 01239 621192.

Last night Amanda (Mummy) passed away and went to be with the Lord.
She was the cornerstone of our family, the business and a blessing to all she met.
Please bare with us, as we navigate this next chapter.
We miss you Mummy. ❤️
Male or female grey seal?
This is a female, due to her silver-grey or brown colouring with dark blotches, whereas the males are much darker in colour, appearing black when in the water, often having lighter blotches. Males are also much bigger in size with a very pronounced nose and wide neck, they also tend to be a bit grumpy!

A gap amongst advection or sea fog banks yesterday!
*VOLUME UP* The water clarity has been exceptional recently, allowing us to get a glimpse into the underwater world!
Nice to have some sunny weather over the last few days, although it has been a bit choppy the dolphins have still been giving us a show!
Did you know... bottlenose dolphins can breach as high as 6 metres, if they're not on a collision course with each other that is!

Proud Parents Moment 😊 Our 2 children work incredibly hard for , especially over the last 12 months, and have been a part of the business since we started (check out some of the old photos I dug out) but the hard work doesn’t stop at the end of the season.
Over the last winter passed the RYA Yachtmaster® Offshore Certificate of Competence Exam 👏 after several years building up experience and sea miles. The describe this as the “pinnacle of yachting qualifications”.
Hot on his heels, .e.barber recently passed the RYA Advanced Powerboat Certificate of Competence Exam 👏 so is now qualified as a commercial skipper.
We’d like to say a big thank you to who awarded both Leo & Madeleine with a scholarship that helped to cover some of the cost of the many training courses required. Check it out as it’s a great scholarship scheme for aspiring commercial skippers. Finally a thank-you to & I’m sure you’ll be seeing them again as they set their sights on the next challenge.
Thanks for all you do, Love Mum & Dad ❤️

Unusual sighting! We were very excited and privileged to come across Risso's dolphins today, it is the first time in 18 years that we've seen this species. Hopefully it won't be the last! #abaytoremember #rissosdolphin #visitwales #visitpembrokeshire #visitceredigion #cardiganbay #westcoast #westwales
