Foel - light and cosy holiday cottage for rent, Llanngrannog, Welsh coast Gorgeous self-catering holiday cottage on the West Wales coast near the lovely seaside village of Ll Short breaks and longer stays available.

Standard changeover day is Friday. Please get in touch for alternatives. Foel is an Edwardian stone cottage a couple of miles from the popular beach and seaside village of Llangrannog between Newquay and Cardigan on the West Wales Coast. Perfect for exploring the stunning Ceredigion coast path, and beaches including National Trust managed Penbryn. It has convenient access to two excellent pubs, an

award winning farm shop, supermarket and friendly cafes. The local ‘cardibus’ passes twice daily. Other activities include dolphin watching, kayaking, coasteering, golf, horse riding, some of the best river fishing in UK, and even dry slope skiing. You will be driving distance to North Pembrokeshire National Park, the foodie town of Newport, and attractions such as Devils Bridge, National Botanic Garden, and the thriving town of Aberystwyth. The cottage is set on it’s own along a quiet lane about a mile from the sea, with wide views across the countryside and dark night skies. It’s a light, spacious yet cosy house that mixes traditional and contemporary décor to provide comfortable spaces for all weathers and seasons. There’s a log burner, oak table and sofa in the dining room, and separate comfortable sitting room with gas fire and two sofas. The well-equipped modern kitchen opens onto a large South facing conservatory with a table seating six, and space to relax. Two generous bedrooms upstairs provide flexible sleeping arrangements in one kingsize, one double and a single bed with an additional comfortable sofa bed in the sitting room downstairs, enabling suitable accommodation for families or small groups, hikers and outdoor adventurers, and couples looking for a quiet retreat. The South West facing enclosed garden has lawn with picnic bench, a sheltered walled garden in the original stone cowshed, a shallow pond, fire pit, trampoline and a games shed for safe equipment storage. There is a wi-fi connection and mobile phone reception.

It’s not all bleak in February. Half term break to blow away the winter blues anyone? We have books, board games& dvds & logburner. Beautiful beaches, woods and streams on the national trust coast. Independent food producers, makers, antiques etc. Wood fired pizza, fish and chips, 2 pubs, cafes in the village. Amazing farm shop Plenty of space to get away from everyday worries& enjoy sunrise, birdsong& cosy evenings by the fire. Sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms. Also feels fine for just two people. Enjoy low light streaming onto the super comfy kingsize bed in the mornings, local walks through ancient woods and wild coastline and then return to the comfort of the woodburner. Well equipped kitchen, various relaxing spaces, books, DVDs and jigsaws for evenings and rainy days.
There is a lovely garden, veg patch and firebowl, open views and wonderful night skies and sunsets.
