The cottage is south facing and looks out into its own little garden with fruiting fig tree. Quiet residential yard suits quiet couple. Campfire available on request in the orchard. E

Some photos for the album of Cartws Bach Little Cart House, which sleeps max 3 adults. Generally we think 3 is max for this cottage because of size and water limitations but feel free to message us. We are half way between Cardigan and Newport.

Solar / wood heated water, underfloor heating, h**p and lime on the walls, eco products for shampoo, cleaners etc. We are onsite to assist you and help you decide where to visit if you need us. Happy to help 🙂 Books and games for rainy days.

Some shots around the place over the past couple of months.

Due to early Easter... unusually... we have availability in both Cottage (sleeps 3-4 plus 1 dog) and Studio (Sleeps 4+ in 2 rooms) throughout April. If you need a last minute escape we will look after you! Everything is beginning to bud and blossom - each year the gardens get more and more bountiful!
Maybe you know someone who needs a getaway...

2 adjacent cottages, we live onsite to look after you if you need us (but won't be in your hair!) and 3 acres and footpaths to explore from the door. Dog friendly for quiet managed dogs!

Arthouse Barn Studio saying hello!
hey folks, we've been quiet on social media, (understatement of the year). It hasn't really been our thing, but well, it's something we thought we need to do and if we give it a go...might provide at least some inspiration, and perhaps if you have been to stay, an update of how things are looking now.. after 15 years of hard graft...

Teabag cat now 15 is still going strong amazingly (photos to follow) and we will post some before and after shots of the whole process.

So as we move into the new year, and we wish you all a good one, full of peace and harmony, we are looking forward to creating the whole story of our journey from derelict barn to wonderful quiet retreat space and all the arty and crafty things in between...

We'll share things going on around the Shire, our favourite places to go...and the creative goings on in the Helkins (Hellier & Watkins) Household.
